Precision DT42GY Review: Precision Products 42-Inch Dethatcher DT42GY. This dethatcher works well if you really want to rip up your lawn and plant new grass, which is exactly what I wanted to do. If you have established grass and leaves, it may get clogged up and you have to continually get off and clean it out. This also helps to level out humps and hollows in the lawn.
